My name is Joel and I have been a fan of Pokemon ever since I was a kid. I still remember stepping into my first card shop where I bought the starter pack and a base set booster pack. The the one with Blastoise artwork. I had a choice between that and the Charizard, however blue was my favourite colour so naturally I chose Blastoise. I was buzzing when I pulled a shiny Raichu, however I bet you can guess what was in the pack I turned down!

I still have that Raichu now and I have been chasing shiny cardboard ever since. That is what lead to Koi Cards being formed. This is a hobby and community I have enjoyed for years and having the opportunity to run a small business within it, something I have put off for too long. I hope you will join me on the journey!
